THE HISTORY OF IRELAND

During the History of Ireland many things of influence have happened such as the viking coming into Ireland and taking over. As a result of this many of there ships have been found at the bottom of the ocean and coasts of Ireland.they have also left many ruined castles.

Siege of Derry was one of the main parts parts of the rebellion of the Irish people towards the English landlords who had taken the land from the Irish people at there weakest and that was during The Great Famine . As a results of the English landlords taking farmers crops as rent payments which cause mainly all resources of Ireland to be sent away to England.

So in conclusion e english landlords doing this many Irish people died or either left for America and many died while traveling there and that is how the ships got the name "coffin ships". Some people actually began to eat grass, thta is the reson of the irish people rebelling back against the english.
